GRADUATE PRACTICUM OR EXTERNSHIP STUDENTS

Students completing doctoral or masters level training in clinical or counseling psychology, mental health counseling, social work, or related fields are invited to complete assessment and/or intervention practica or extern placements with our group. We offer training in gold-standard diagnostic interviewing with youth and caregivers, and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based brief interventions for youth depression. We currently work with students in training programs across the University of Pittsburgh, as well as Chatham University and Duquesne University. We welcome students from other local programs as well.

UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTS

Students interested in joining our team will have hands-on opportunities to participate in all parts of the research process. Students will learn a variety of cognitive and behavioral assessment methods. We request a two-semester commitment from students joining us as volunteers, work-study, or directed research students.
